Intensive course about progression in Via Ferrata

Learn how to consciously go on a via ferrata, prepare a trip correctly, manage less experienced people or children with an additional rope.

If you are a hiker who wants to approach a more vertical mountain through the great landscape of via ferratas that the Alps offer, this intensive course is what you are looking for.

A professional and targeted introduction can be of great help in this mountaineering activity, both to optimize the effort and to understand the process of risk management, especially in the case of any unexpected events to be easily overcome with the use of the rope, usually unknown to most “ferrata guys”.
The goal is to provide you with all the technical tools and knowledge of risk management to be independent on a via ferrata both at the bottom of the valley and at high altitudes.

Do you have experience of via ferrata but you want to accompany your children or an inexperienced? You should use an additional belaying rope. Try to take a look at what they think at PETZL.

An intense day of practice on the field where we will go on a medium-grade ferrata making some stops where we can focus on the various key concepts. There will also be the opportunity to try an easy rock climbing, to lay the foundations of the movement, also very useful on the most demanding via ferratas.

It is also possible to have a two half-day course, with the same price and content, or to add a second day in which to cover a longer via ferrata in a high altitude environment where you can practice the concepts of the first intensive day (ask for a quote and for the two full days extended program).
