VIA FERRATA RIO SALLAGONI or Castel Drena

A perfect summery via ferrata for families and children.

This famous via ferrata goes up a canyon located at the foot of Castel Drena (Drena castle), near Arco.
Originally, it was an old escape route in the event of an attack at the castle. The path follows the walls of the gorge, which is very narrow at times and is always suspended above the stream, giving it a nice coolness and shade even in the heat of summer.

Along the way, two Tibetan bridges await you to put to the test your balance.

It is a short but not easy route, suitable for adults and children starting from 9 years onwards.
